Now more than ever, it’s important to support our teachers and students. Joining the PTSO makes this job a little easier.

Last school year, the PTSO provided funds for teacher grants, the PBIS Program, outdoor classroom seating, training for our therapy dog, and more. This year our goal is to provide shade for our outdoor spaces, light pole banners for the school grounds, teacher grants, and be as responsive as possible to the needs of our school during the year.

Whether your student is attending in person or virtually, you are a part of the Riverwatch family and we still need your support. All students benefit from a strong school community.

Your donation does not require you to attend meetings or volunteer and is simply a tax deductible donation to your child’s school PTSO, a 501(c)(3) organization.

A Word

From Our Principal

At Riverwatch Middle School, we strive to provide a welcoming environment that supports students to build a belief in their own ability to be successful, teaches them how to balance responsibilities, and guides them through challenges so that they develop resilience. In this endeavor, we find that our partnership with our families is a most vital piece. Our PTSO is critical to this partnership as they create opportunities for community connection. I urge you to consider joining our PTSO in support of all that we do to make Riverwatch a wonderful place to grow and learn.

Community Sponsorship

Did you know that many of our school enhancements, extra programming, teacher grants and student events are funded via sponsorships and partner agreements from local businesses? Without our Panther Community Sponsors, many of the much-needed improvements over the years, such as the enhancements to our Media Center, creating an Outdoor Classroom, and upgrading school technology, would not have been possible. We are so grateful for our Panther Community Sponsor’s support as they help to enrich our students’ educational experience. You can help make a difference too!

Teacher Grants 2021-2022

The PTSO is proud to award our school and staff with annual grants. The staff fills out a grant request for the items or programs they would like assistance with. The administration and board look at each request with careful consideration. This year’s grant recipients includes funding for Ms. Stetson’s ESOL class, Mr. Collins’ Broadcasting and A/V Storytelling classes, and the PBIS team for continuing sponsorship for the Positive Behavior Interventions and Support program. We awarded our grants with a surprise Big Check. The PTSO is grateful for the support of our school community for their donations to supply these grants!
